Friday Horseracing Tips

Value Man Matt did the business yet again Thursday with the very impressive BRING ON A SPINNER, 13/8 early returned 11/8. Easy winner. Chookie Hamilton won on Wednesday, this guy is ON FIRE!

By popular demand, and I am not making it up when I say, that we have had lots of mails asking about Value Man Matt. We have over 3000 subscribers to the blog, no wonder the prices shorten quickly!

Snow Joke at the Moment!

Friday sees another card called off. Sedgefield is OFF, snow. It never rains but it snows it seems and there is no end in sight, not for the next week or so anyway! Huntingdon goes ahead and the ground will be testing there too. So once again, stakes to a minimum and I say again, I am not betting over the sticks. I have advised our members too, best bet NO BET! We have suspended all pay bets because its just too risky in these conditions. The all weather is keeping the profits rolling though thanks to VALUE MAN MATT. He has bets today, but first the look at Huntingdon.

I really wouldn’t bother, but if for some strange reason you feel you simply must have a bet at Huntingdon then these are the ones to look at…

13.50 Huntingdon THE UNIT 11/10 Betfair
Decent bumper horse that won a £60k bumper at Newbury in March, trained by Alan King, who is in form. Look laboured on his return in Nov, like he needed it after 8 months off. Will have done plenty since and if he is any good should be up to winning this. Again conditions warning applies!

15.50 Huntingdon BRIERY BELLE
The closing race on the card is a mare’s maiden bumper. This is a pretty dire contest and no super star, Briery Belle is better than these on all known form. If you are quick you can snap up some even money. Her last run in handicap company at Cheltenham behind Lily Waugh and Ron’s Dream stands head and shoulders above the rest on offer here. Its a bit short and again warnings apply, but really we should be collecting.

With winners the last two days Matt has TWO bets for you

14.30 Lingfield MAX BET- GOROKAI- EVENS General

Simcock is a yard bang in form. This is a dreadful race, utterly dreadful. This horse will never get a better chance of breaking it’s maiden. I care not that it is a low quality contest the bookies prices are the same regardless! Gorokai should win and is expected to win. MAX BET no question!

15.00 Lingfield MAX BET – SUPER KID- 5/4 Ladbrokes

Every chance this will get smashed off the boards! Won well here two starts ago, was over faced in a £28k race last time, ran OK, but in the context of this race that was a much better level of form. I would expect him to be back to winning ways here today. In fact he is really well treated under the race conditions. Martin Harley is riding well too and is making the most of his chances whilst the boys in blue are in Dubai.

Value Man Matt also suggests a DOUBLE, he likes BOTH these on Friday!

Some good greyhound action tonight and don’t forget a BIG WEEKEND with Footy Dog back with more soccer tips for you as well as, weather permitting some top class jumps action from Wetherby and Warwick. Frost could be the party pooper at Wetherby, but fingers crossed!!
